Mr. Fransen is responsible for CORO's acquisitions, disposition and financing activities. Prior to joining CORO, Mr. Fransen was President, North American Operations of the Slokker Group, headquartered in Washington, DC. There he oversaw the acquisition, disposition, development and operation of US and Canadian commercial, residential and specialty properties with an "as is" value over $700 million and a build-out value over $2.5 billion. Mr. Fransen previously served as legal counsel for real estate, securities and private equity transactions at the New York offices of Baker Botts LLP and Battle Fowler LLP. Mr. Fransen is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Young Presidents Organization, and serves on several advisory boards. He received a B.A. from the University of Virginia, a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
